Mascara for short lashes

I have really short straight lashes and struggle to find a mascara that gives them any length! Trouble I have is I end up needing to put a lot on to make a difference and then it looks really clumpy!! Any recommendations?

Benefit They're real mascara is absolutely brilliant! I have short blonde lashes so I feel your pain. I wear natural fake lashes too to add volume and length

You need a good set of eyelash curlers
DD has Tarte curlers and uses Tarte mascara - I bought her a double set that had a thinner wand for lower lashes as well. She has enviable long lashes though .

I am of the short, scabby ,sparse eyelash ilk, I have tried all manner of curlers including the much acclaimed Shu Umeru but I always go back to my ancient Body Shop curlers.
The best mascara I have found for mine is Mally .

Brush is great for finding small lashes and can reapply a couple of times for length without any clumping. Doesn’t wear off or flake

Thanks- I can't wear benefit mascaras for some reason as they really irritate my eyes! But I have had the same pair of eyelash curlers for ages so maybe that would be a good thing to start with!

Maybe go to a salon and try semi permanent lashes?

I've just ordered the dhc mascara after seeing it on Lisa Eldridge's latest video. I've got v short lashes too and this one looks like it's got a nice small, thin brush to get right to the roots of the lashes.

A good eyelash curler will also help. In the summer months I have lvl lashes which are fab and last for 6-8 weeks.

Another vote for L'Oreal telescopic mascara, mine are tiny and straight and it works wonders.

Also, you can buy heated eyelash curlers for not much money that work really well.

Have you tried Rapidlash? It's a serum you put on your eyelid every night takes a while to work but people have been asking me if I'm wearing false eyelashes recently! It definitely works

I love Le Volume by Chanel.
If you can go to a Chanel counter and they will give you a wee sample.

Aldi 3d mascara. It's brilliant. Much better than lots of more expensive ones. I don't rate the benefit they're real mascara. Was really disappointed.
