On the back of another thread, could you tell me where I can get some lovely perfume samples ordered - a few bad ebay experiences trying to get Chanel Beige means I'd rather look at legit companies. Great to hear any recommendations. Thanks!

scentsamples.uk.com are pretty fair and have a good selection, but it changes and from time to time they will be out of stock. Another company recommended on the perfumista threads is www.perfumista.co.uk. I've used both without problem.

I nearly placed an order the other day with fragrancesamplesuk.com but was put off by their website's lack of contact info - no street address and only a mobile phone number and emails.

I would also like to know of a reputable one.

Feelunique have a pick'n'mix option where you can choose 5 beauty samples (including a reasonable selection of fragrances) for £3.95. You can only do this once a month but it's the cheapest way I know of getting samples. The Perfume Society sell mixed boxes of samples, you get about 9-10 perfume samples for about £20. Bloom Perfume also sell mixed boxes but they are more niche perfumes so a bit more expensive and some unusual choices - just don't ask about my recent experience with Secretions Magnifique (the other perfumes in the set more than made up for it!).

You tried a perfume called Secretions ?! Brave you. Thanks v much for recommendation I’ll look these up

Notino.co.uk - good for mainstream samples

chicinwellies can I just say Chanel Exclusives are often very difficult to get hold of from sample web sites. Chanel I believe regularly threaten legal action, so every so often all samples/decants are withdrawn for a while. After a time they then start to filter back ..... until the next time!
The only way really is to try them in Chanel Shops. Which can be really overwhelming .I toured several on my holidays this year.
I guess there really is a reason they are called exclusives. Can you make a London trip with your sister ?As perfumes really need to be tried on first, as they can smell so different on individuals.

Yep, I’d recommend the following which had ordered from ...

  • Feel Unique pick n mix (mainstream accessible Perfume hall stock) £3.95
  • The Perfume Society discovery boxes (good mix of niche & mainstream) £15-19 per box + £2.50 delivery
  • Pell Wall independent high quality/ interesting perfume house (nose Chris Bartlett) packs of samples £6 delivered
  • Bloom curated boxes for niche - £18-25 per box plus £2.50 delivery
  • 4160 Tuesdays - independent perfumery with fun and nostalgic scents - quite unique. Sample packs £25 for 7 2.25ml plus delivery (£3 ish)
  • The Fragrance Shop subscription service- very mainstream popular stuff. £5 per quarter
  • Juliette has a Gun - discovery boxes (was only 10 Euro when I purchased 18 months ago) this is a niche brand
  • Les Senteurs - the best selection of niche but small expensive samples

Those are the places I’ve purchased samples from besides EBay

Thank you Bluebell that is incredibly helpful

Although must say I’ve never seen Chanel exclusif samples available away from EBay.

Fragrance shop has a perfume addict service for £12 per month you get 8ml bottles of your chosen scent. They have Chanel but besides No 5 they’re not to my taste (Chance Mademoisselle Gabrielle). Same with the Guerlains (Mon Guerlain PRN, only have Santal )
