I use jojoba oil to take off my eye make up! It works well, but pretty laborious!
What product just melts the make up away please?

Garnier eye make up remover. Feels fresh and light rather than oily and heavy like every other make up remover i've tried, be it expensive or cheap.

longtompot · 28/02/2018 12:53

Im using this stuff at the moment and it seems to work well and quickly, with no stinging eyes! eye makeup remover

DontCallMeCharlotte · 28/02/2018 13:01

Simple Eye Make Remover.

omBreROSE · 28/02/2018 13:25

Thank you. I will take a look in Boots at those suggested. :)

I have 3 and they all work really quickly.

Clinique take the day off makeup remover for lids lashes and lips

Nivea double effect eye makeup remover

Lancome bi facil eye make up remover

they are all as good as each other so go for the nivea as its cheapest.

Tantpoke · 28/02/2018 13:28

ps The Garnier one made my eyes sting

viques · 28/02/2018 13:34

Another vote for the Nivea double effect, watch out for supermarket bogof offers!

omBreROSE · 28/02/2018 13:59

Thank you all! :)

Dermaogic pre-cleanse. Miracle stuff, it's like an oil, rub on with your fingers across whole face, it just melts away and rinse off. No need for any running with a cotton pad. I follow up with facewash sometimes.

longtompot · 28/02/2018 14:26

snewsname I got the express one as my mascara is waterproof and it removes waterproof makeup.

OP, I have also used Lancome bifacial which I loved, but sadly a bit too much for me currently. The Nivea double effect is also good, but I think this Garnier one requires much less rubbing and doesn't sting my eyes like the Nivea one did.

Honkyzeke · 28/02/2018 14:41

I use Coconut oil, it just melts eye make up away with no effort.

PlanNumber · 28/02/2018 14:55

Aqueous cream and a damp cloth

ginyogarepeat · 28/02/2018 14:55

Best one I've ever used is body shop camomile one. Non greasy, effortless and the only one where I don't still have black circles from yesterday's mascara/eyeliner the next morning, or after a shower! Everything else I've ever tried has always left bits behind.

omBreROSE · 28/02/2018 16:47

Thank you all. In the end l went fir the Vit E Superdrug one.
I’ve heard the range is quite popular- l appreciate your help as if it goes tits up - there is lots more to choose from! Smile

I didnt know they did a vit E eye make up remover, I've used the vit E cleanser but my skin hated it.

omBreROSE · 28/02/2018 23:37

I’ve just done my eyes. It did take off my make up quickly. I don’t wear masses -but l wear eyeshadow/ liner mascara! For me, the real test is in the morning- as l am prone to puffy eyelids...

Vaseline jelly _ rub it right in, wipe away with slightly damp cotton wool

Lilymossflower · 28/02/2018 23:50

I just rub on coconut oil then wipe it off with wet baby wipes
Does it quick and smooth

danceswithwenches · 01/03/2018 00:43

A bit pricey but I use Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover, the one in the tube, especially for mascara and eye makeup

BlondeB83 · 01/03/2018 07:19

Either the Garnier or Nivia remover that splits in half in the bottle. Both great.

Sarahh2014 · 01/03/2018 07:29

Baby lotion! Cheap and takes anything off.Been using it since my teens never use anything else

omBreROSE · 01/03/2018 07:55

Well... the vit E ( Superdrug) did take it all off with no residual bits left over... l forgot l had some Camomile EMUR from the Body Shop. That, is very good for a freshen up in the morning!
I think this dry weather is making my eyes sore anyway...

Are any of the ones people have suggested good for removing false eyelash glue?

I don't really have an issue with my makeup but I seem to have the glue along my lash line for days HmmConfused
