decent sheer nail polish that wont make me go crazy?!

Recent purchase of OPI polish is sorely regretted by me. I bought a sheer pink and a cream white for a diy french manicure but the polish quality is frustratingly bad. I bought the matching nail polish thinner and its still gloopy and streaky. I've tried sheer polish from Essie, sally hansen and ysl but the same result. I've seen nail hacks where you use a matte top coat for sheer polish but why should i faff around with that crap??!

Just want a decent sheer nail polish. Hate my life right now (No, not really ) but can someone please help and recommend some other brands?... thanks Also just traditional air dry polish not gel/shellac thanks

What d you mean by sheer?

Do you mean translucent? Or do you mean pale? Have you looked at Mavarla? They do lots of very pale pinks that are almost sheer with one coat.

Sorry for the rant. I did my manicure perfectly until the blinking nail polish bit.

Dior nail glow is fabulous. Looks great and lasts me 4-5 days.

Sugar Daddy by Essie is lovely.

The Kiko pink french manicure polish is really good. Lasts a week on my nails. I've just bought another brand as I ran out and couldn't get back to a Kiko store and it's rubbish in comparison!

Sounds weird but my favourite sheer/soft pink is actually Essie's Grow Stronger base coat. It's not meant to be a colour but it has a beautiful soft, sheer shell pink colour. I do a few coats and it's really nice.

Also I've had great sheer colours from Zoya - they sometimes look darker in the bottle but go on very sheer and pale. My favourite was Zoya Paloma but I think it's now discontinued, but they'll probably have others if you have a google.

I've recently had a Jessica manicure that lasted a week, but I haven't got the time to get another one before I go on holiday. I've never had a regular manicure that's lasted this long, so I'm impressed with the make but don't know if I did it myself it would last that long.
I'm tempted by Butterfly's recommendation. Any top tips for a long lasting home French manicure ?

Another vote for Dior nail glow.
