Ok, a little bit of info first: I'm 33, cohabiting, no DC. I work as an executive assistant. Up to now I've always been quite subdued style-wise. Sensible. Maybe even boring.. but now I'm boring myself!

I went for a trendy new haircut (I've tried a few times), the last time I even took a photo of what I wanted (different salon each time), yet each time I just come out with a sensible bob, which teamed with my mousy brown hair leaves me looking just as plain as I did before I went in.

I'd love to try a new colour, the pastels are beautiful, I also really like the silver grey, but I just don't have the balls to go for it!

What shall I do? I need inspiration!!! Should I get a new wardrobe first, then do the hair, or vice-versa?

Has anyone else had a style change?
