What age did you start to notice your wrinkles?

Just that really! I've just turned 28 and starting to notice fine lines beneath my eyes are starting to form. Had a few forehead wrinkles for a while (thank god for fringes!) but just generally wondering when people started to notice theirs!

40! I was really shocked! I think I was living in Lala land and just not noticing earlier. It was like "who's is this weird crepey neck". Have started on major anti ageing regimen.

pinkginanyone · 25/02/2018 21:26

32, they’ve developed overnight! I need Botox but I am scared.

MissOrganisedMe · 25/02/2018 21:27

My first baby turns one in a week and my god I look like shite 😂 she's aged me!

  1. I have no interest in vanity but It hit me at 45 that I do not look young anymore. Have no fucks to give.
happy2bhomely · 25/02/2018 21:31

I'm 34 and I've just started noticing a different texture under my eyes. It is softer and creases more when I smile.

I also have one 'eleven' that stays for a while after frowning.

I've started using retinol and make sure I slap on lots of sunscreen. It makes me a tiny bit sad, but I'm healthy and happy. My dd is 14 and full of fresh-faced beauty and I look ok until I stand next to her!

Started the Botox at 28, I'm now lineless at 34

Fairylea · 25/02/2018 21:39

  1. I have a fat face so I think it plumped them out before that.
HaroldsSoCalledBluetits · 25/02/2018 23:32

45 when I started noticing slight creases at the sides of my eyes when I smiled.

FabalaTheGreenGirl · 25/02/2018 23:37

Doesn't everyone have wrinkles at the sides of their eyes when they smile? I don't have any lines but my issue is that my face just looks a bit haggard in general. I'm 30.

hannahintheworks · 25/02/2018 23:53

Me! I’ll be turning 28 next month and I have just recently noticed lines on my forehead and slightly at the corners of my eyes. I’m on the anti wrinkle cream to try and delay it any more!

DottyDotts · 26/02/2018 01:05

56 I noticed. Not wrinkles just the start of marionette lines.

HaroldsSoCalledBluetits · 26/02/2018 01:22

I didn't have them before, fabala. They've now a few years later moved on to being there all the time. I've no idea why I've got away so lightly on the wrinkle front so far. I do moisturise every day but don't really believe it makes a difference.

halfwitpicker · 26/02/2018 01:56

I've a few lines on my forehead and a crease under my right eye that disappears once I've had a shower in a morning. Thick moisturiser still lakes a difference, luckily. My eyes lids are starting to feel heavier though, reckon I'll have to have a blepharoplasty in a few years. I'm 36.

halfwitpicker · 26/02/2018 01:57

I've a few lines at the sides of my eyes but they're not that bad. Not to sound sanctimonious but I drink loads of water, eat well, don't smoke and don't drink loads of alcohol. I think I'd look ten years older if I did!

SuperBeagle · 26/02/2018 02:03

I noticed smile lines and fine lines under the eyes in my early 20s.

I think that's very normal. I noticed it with almost everyone I knew, unless they were bigger and, as a result, had more collagen in their faces.

dimsum123 · 26/02/2018 02:08
  1. Am not too bothered. Just have to make the most of what's there
NutellaFitzgerald · 26/02/2018 02:14

First noticed lines around my eyes at 38. I'm now 41 and like them.. yep, I do. When I smile they draw attention to my eyes, 'look at my smiley eyes' they say. I prefer my face with them.

But then I've never found a lined face to be, of itself, unattractive. It isn't true that only men's faces gain character with age.

Might change my tune once I get those lines from nose to mouth (are they marionette lines?) which can make a face look more grumpy than the wearer intends.

Marmite17 · 26/02/2018 02:23

Noticed grey hair much sooner! Started to turn grey at 30 ish and almost completely grey at 45. Neck started to look older by about 40 but thankfully few wrinkles on face. I burn easily so use sun screen but you can tell that I miss using it on my neck.

CountFosco · 26/02/2018 12:20

My DSis told me I had 'laughter lines' at 30 (she was 21). I'd say I have noticeable lines now in my late 40s but quite happy with that (and DSis grown up enough to not make rude comments!). Was discussing with my officemate the curious effect of aging that you get worse looking with age (according to social norms) but happier with your appearance.
