Retinol - the ordinary - please help!

After reading advice on this board I've decided to buy a retinol product from The Ordinary. I've just gone to their website and they have a few different retinol products listed. Which do I get?

I want it to help reduce/slow down the development of fine lines and wrinkles that have appeared around my eyes and on my forehead since a long term illness caused me to lose quite a lot of weight. I'm 30 years old but my skin has aged quite a lot this past year.

I have read that vitamin c cream will be beneficial as well as the retinol. I'm utterly lost. Acid has also come up a few times (acid toning maybe?).

Atm my daily routine consists of washing my face with whatever face wash I have and putting spf 30 on. This world of products and beauty regimens is a bit of a minefield to me.

There’s a suggested regime on the site, this is where I started. I’m using granactive retinoid5% and hyaluronic acid 2%. There was something called buffet too but I’m using hylamide subQ instead - this was a mumsnet recommendation from years ago and I repeat buy it. I do think it’s making a difference but it’s early days.

I love it Hisbetterhalf, I only really noticed how good it was when I stopped using it. However I got my last lot on special in boots and I think they might have stopped selling it.

I went into Deciem the other day looking for something to help my dull skin and also fine lines. For the lines they recommended Buffet.
