Perfume suggestions please

Not been able to justify spending money on perfume for a few years and want to treat myself to something but don't know where to start. Still haven't got a blank cheque and some of the prices are very scary. My last perfume purchase was Pure Poison. My all time favourite was Tuscany Per Donna. No idea if either is still available.

Any suggestions for what to try?

Mrsreynolds I'd have to be on crack to contemplate spending that kind of money on Addict 😁

I will check out the other suggestions thanks

Go onto Fragantica. Type in your favourite perfume and it will come up with some similar ones. For example Pure Poison is meant to be similar to Intimately Beckham which is £10.00 on AllBeauty.
Alternatively you can buy 5-10 ml decants of Poison on eBay if you really want the genuine article. Or scout eBay for partially used bottles of your favourites. They can often be had for a knock down price.

Armani Si eau de parfum. Not the new version, ask for the original.

Ghost enchanted bloom is fab

Try the feel unique pick and mix sample service- it’s just £3.95 for 5 x 1-2ml samples (enough for a few days of wear of each). Just go on and pick the ones you want to try (they have around 50). You can get a new batch monthly.

If you try to pick a Perfume in a department store you will become confused about what you like, be seduced by the top notes into buying something not quite right or leave with a headache (potentially all 3!). Sampling in the comfort of your own home is the way to go.

Another great option is The Perfume Society boxes. They have note cards so you can see what you like/ don’t like. The Latest Launches box has a very good selection including travel size bottles from Miller Harris (a good brand) and is only £15. So you get to try 10 perfumes with note cards.

Also iscentyouaday blog is awesome and concentrates on many cheaper perfumes (although she does like niche).

Online retailers are a good place to look for good price perfume as in store prices can be rather high. Allbeauty and fragrancedirect are good discounters. Fragrance shop runs 20% off everything quite often.

^ the Latest Launches box from the Perfume Society I mentioned contains E Coudray Rose Tuberose which you may like based on your taste (Pure poison is white floral so you may like Tuberose).

Sorry but some suggestions above don’t bear much relation to the OPs examples of her taste.

Other perfumes you might like include illumunium gardenia petals, gardenia Annick Goutal, florenyntna M&S, lady million Paco Rabanne, 24 Faubourg Hermes, Jasmin Noir Bulgari, Fracas or petite Fracas (a classic), 212 Caroline Herrera (the original one), diamonds and emeralds Liz Taylor, plum Mary greenwell, floriental commes des garçon, Sofia vegara.

All of those share notes with the perfumes you mentioned. I think Plum May Greenwell would be a good one to try as there’s a decent chance of liking it
