Faking 8 hours sleep!

Soyalatteforme · 24/02/2018 16:43

Any tips for how to look as if I've had a good night's sleep and not the actual 5-6 hours I typically get??

I've got a few events coming up and in the run up I'll be unlikely to get the recommended combination of exercise/sleep/good nutrition. I can squeeze in swimming and I generally eat well and drink lots of water, usually just one coffee a day, rarely drink alcohol. I'd like to look fresh faced! Can anyone help me fake it?

Benefit Dandelion and one of the Garnier [[http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2017/05/way-theres-another-garnier-skin-active-moisture-bomb-sheet-mask-tired-skin.html sheet masks]?

This stuff from M&S is great.

Soap and Glory do an sleep miracle cream, cannot remember the name. I swear by it.

Remus - thanks was hoping for a mask recommendation! I've wondered about the tissue masks and never tried them so will give this one a whirl.

fredabear - I got that cream in my advent calendar and hoped to emulate the rave reviews I'd heard. But, it did nothing for me 😢

travailtotravel - is it this cream: www.soapandglory.com/beauty-sleep-acceleratortm ?

These masks are really nice too - you can get them in H &B and in Oxfam, and sometimes in Waitrose.

Guerlain's Midnight Secret works for me. I use it a lot on long haul flights.

I had that M&S Ultimate Sleep Cream in my advent calendar too, it gave me a rash.

Nip+Fab have Viper Venom Blur Fix which is helpful for smoothing out the face (a bit). And their Dragon's Blood serum plumps my skin up a bit.

Soyalatteforme · 25/02/2018 18:15

Thanks remus - my local Waitrose had those so I've bought a stock of Masks to trial.

So far I'm going for a basin full of cold water, eye drops, mask, venom blur fix (good timing for the 50% off 😊) and the guerlain midnight secret cream. Whilst lusting after an actual full night's sleep......
