Anyone recommend a decent cream eyeshadow ? I'm hopeless at applying make up and thought cream eyeshadow might be less forgiving . And how do u apply it ... finger/brush ? Thanks

Chanel do lovely ones. Illusion d’ombre is my favourite range. You just pat them on with your fingertip. Sometimes I use a pencil brush to put a little under my eyes as well. Ask them to show you some at the counter.

Maybelline colour tattoo pots are v good

Do you just use one colour on the actual eyelid ?

I second the Maybelline colour tattoo pots, they don’t crease or budge on me. I’ve got the bronze one and just apply it with my fingers. I also love the By Terry Ombré Blackstar sticks but they’re more expensive.

You can do one colour definitely! I'm a massive eyeshadow fan but if I'm in a rush I just put the bronze one on my lid. You can also dip a brush in and use it as liner

Bobbi Brown long wear cream sticks are nice; I use it in Stone which is a pale grey. The other shades are all on the pink side or very dark. I don't like their pots of cream eye shadow- no depth of colour.

Oooh not heard of the stick ones... they sound easy ... I think even I could colour my eye in like a crayon 😉

The autograph sticks at M&S are good too. I just draw on and smudge with finger. Tend to use two colours.

Loving the taupe Bobbi brown eye cream stick. Fail proof! So easy and does not move.
