What do people think of this dress?

My sister is getting married over the summer and a picture of this dress has popped up on my Facebook feed. The boutique it's in, is about a 40 minute drive from my house and going there will steal valuable child free time. Also it's 250 euro so not cheap. I love the colours.... The grey and lime and pretty and different. But I'm not sure about the pleats... I think they look gorgeous but worry they will be unflattering... I can't decide whether to waste my previous child free evening hunting down this dress or just let it go...

I like the skirt bit, but the top is a bit middle aged.

I am dark haired, blue eyed and will have a spray tan done for the day... I generally go for more jewel tones so this would be different... I think I'll chance going there tomorrow and try it on... Hopefully they'll have my size I should probably ring to double check

I think it’s lovely. Different but subtle enough for a wedding. You could go totally clashing and get hot pink accessories or keep it in tone with the colours. If you like it OP go for it!

If I go there tomorrow and purchase I'll post a picture;) I think the colour will work but I'll definitely need a tan... Thanks;)

I like the shape and the unusual colours.

But...

The pleats will highlight any kind of rounded stomach. Even a tiny one. Especially coupled with an exposed and defined waistline such as that. Also, the waist is quite high (most women suit it just above the hips; it accentuates the curve of the waist). And if you’ve got a full bust, I’d look for another option.

That said, if you’re a ‘straight up and down’ sort with a small bust, you’ll look amazing in it! May need a tan though...

Not if you have anything other that "boyish" hips. And you'd need a flat stomach.
Those pleats will show up any curves something awful.

I love it. Very unusual, in a good way. But I reckon you'll have to be thin.

I'm a size 8/10 but I have hips and boobs.. I think it will also depend on the material... If it's too light it will be tougher to get away with

It's very pretty. I love the tie dye colours.

To be honest, I don't really like it, but I think you'd have to be very tall and slim to get away with it. The pleats will be difficult to pull off due to the high waist line.

Tall slim and no curves and you'll look amazing, hips would be accentuated and that neckline is awful for big boobs (but anyone with big boobs knows that).
