Are these jeans awful, or fun?

Saw these on Toff (from I'm A Celeb).... I love them but do they look stupid and silly, or are they fun?

My 8 yr old dgc would dismiss these as "soppy".

I don't have a problem with the patches but I don't really like the length and shape. If it's a shape that suits your body, though, go for it!

I like them. I'd wear them with white trainers/pumps and a different top, a plain fine knit or sweater tucked in.

And stonewashed denim is very much back 'in'! I was shopping today and the shops are full of stone wash Mom jeans and the straight frayed hem jeans.

I should have saved a similar pair I had when I was 14...

Nice!

I like them, but then again I am 20. Are they stonewashed? They don't look it to me

EnidButton · 24/02/2018 18:33

Not as bad as I was expecting. I think any item of clothing that could be described as 'fun' is a bad thing on an adult. I was imagining a 90's Blue Peter presenter or something.

But they're alright. Quite like them. I'd be careful about what you wear them with, so no pink jumper and glittery converse for example, but they're fine.

Elledorado · 25/02/2018 00:45

I would feel ridiculous in these (but my style is not what you'd describe as "fun"). Just because of the patches really. The style of jeans itself is fine.

I work in fashion buying for a major retailer and would personally say no to these, but I love embroidered (or embellished) denim. Topshop have some cute mom jeans in which I prefer
