Skin under the bust - cream to soothe

For DMum.
Skin under the bust (she's 80) is sensitive and slightly red. She has psorisas too so nothing too harsh.

The hospital Dr said use Vaseline , but its very gloopy.

Would something like Sudocream or Lanacane be better?
I'm thinking (hopefully logically) they're a bit 'drier' in texture ?

What does anyone else use?

If there's no improvement I'll get her to go to her GP for something medicated, I know the skin underbust is prone to fungal/candida type problems
TIA

Thrush doesn't have to be itchy it can just be sore.

I recently treated a very bad itchy case of athlete's "foot"/jock itch (caught, I think from dh who had used my towel even though he's not suppose to as he has chronic athlete's foot under his toe nails ) with a mix of body lotion and tea tree oil (which is an anti-fungal). Once it was getting a bit better, I used a mix of tea tree oil and lavender oil. (A small squidge of body lotion and a couple of drops of each essential oil, then mixed together)

I agree with Sufocream under the boobage area.

I recently had a mild fungal infection under my boobs Due to combination of too hot at work, large boobs and being immune supressed. It smelled a bit musty.
Daktarin athleyes got cream cleared it up quickly, along with a clean bra everyday and ensuring area kept dry.

Athletes foot cream - duh

HippyChickMama · 24/02/2018 23:07

Scholl athletes foot powder. Clears it within a few days

....meant to say, couldn't get to the shops for a few days to get athlete's foot cream/powder, hence treating my case with the home-made mix of lotion and tea tree oil - which worked brilliantly Smile

This might sound weird but putting a cotton t-shirt or vest on under the bra will really help. The band of the bra won’t rub directly into the skin then. No one can tell under clothes

Big boobs, I used to get this. GP advised not to use talc as it can make it worse, it was hard to stop but now I’m convinced that though helping when applied it did actually make it worse.
Sudocream helps, cotton bras and keeping it as dry as possible.
