Botox heavy brow

So I had Botox in my forehead 8 days ago to get rid of horizontal expression lines. The first two days it looked great, but as the botox has really settled in, the side effect is my brow has dropped and my eyelid crease has pretty much gone. Basically I have hardly any visible eye lid anymore and 'baggy' skin on the lid. I'm a youngish looking 44 and eyelids looked fine before this.

Having read around there's not much that can be done other than wait for the effects to wear off. I've got a follow up appointment next week (reputable provider, administered by a Dr) so I'll see what they say, but any tips for managing this for the next few months? I foresee the bulk buying of eyelid tape ... Confused

I too have experienced eyebrow droop after having my first dose of botox. I was warned not to have botox by one practitioner but went to another for a second opinion who convinced me that she could counteract any droop by injecting in two places - £290 lighter and with a droop - so disappointed and definitely think that droop is far worse than a few wrinkles... How long before the the eyebrows return to their correct position - any advice greatly appreciated! Thank you

@jsl1971 Sitting at 9 weeks since I was injected and have very slight movement coming back. Was hoping for the minimum of three months to be back to normal but I’m thinking it will be about the five month mark - could be six for some people depending on the amount injected. At least it gradually gets better with time. I read that if you exercise those muscles it helps wear it off faster but I think it’s more of a waiting game than anything else. Xx
