Aldi charcoal mud mask

It is some kind of magic. Anyone else tried it? I picked up a tub today on a whim and gave it a go and my skin looks amazing! Probably not for the sensitive or dry of skin though.

I use pure activated charcoal on my teeth and have made a mask with it in the past and loved the results.

I've used other charcoal masks for my oily skin but never had results like this. I did a bit of googling and apparently this is a dupe of a Glamglow version which is £42. It's a special buy so they might not come round again - thought I'd give people a heads-up!

I brought this today too !! Along with some micellar water. I also bought children’s cutlery and wine. I love a random Aldi shop 😂

Just trying mine out now. Fingers crossed it sorts my skin out.
Used to use Glamglow bit definitely can't afford that now on maternity pay!

I bought it last week. I'm oh fab of glam glow, but I was surprised by how good the Aldi one is. There's are loads of good ingredients in the Aldi one, glycolic/lactic acid, bentonite etc and it works very well. The texture is nicer than glam glow and my skin felt very clean and was super radiant when I washed it off. It's great for the price. I'm going to pop back and get a few more jars.

Also try the charcoal cleanser in the same range. It's great too.

Is this good for oily acne prone skin?

Dunno about acne, but I have oily skin and it worked a treat.

Really impressed! Pores looked a lot smaller and my skin felt lovely. Definitely think it's on a par with Glamglow if not better.
I actually preferred the texture of this Aldi one.

I like a lot! Tend to buy one every time I'm in Aldi, just in case it suddenly vanishes. That said, it's been in our Aldi for absolutely ages so I've got quite the collection and should stop doing that really

Bought this yesterday and tried it! I'm prone to oily skin and when I woke up this morning my skin wasn't oily and a few pimples I had looked much better. Thank you!

Did it make your face tingle?

Sheep who got it yesterday too. Made my face tingle yes and it was a bit sensitive today which is odd as I am tough as old boots.

Pores look better but a couple of spots came up.

Do you know if it can be used if you're breastfeeding? Everything I've bought recently bloody can't!

It does make the face tingle and even sting a bit, yes. Steer clear if you have sensitive skin! I found the results well worth it though - bought another and am going to be using sparingly so it lasts for months!
