Tuxedo - what blouse & shoes?

I have a party coming up and am planning on wearing a black tuxedo. It's not a black tie event so I probably won't be wearing the jacket most of the time,so it'll just be smart black trousers. Any suggestions for a flattering blouse?
I also had a fall recently so can't wear heels so I need flat or low shoes too.
I'm 5'5", a size 10 on top but pear shaped. I'm worried I'm going to look dumpy.

Can you get some flat patent leather shoes, they look great with tuxs.
You could go for the full monty and have a dress shirt and bow tie.
I've seen women and men look lovely and stylish with added accessories.
Or you could wear a plain white blousey thing that isn't like a formal shirt with a round neck and lovely jewellery.

Really high heels and no top underneath was my first thought. However, if you are going jacketless, maybe not...

Something a bit sparkly or metallic? Again with heels if you need a bit of height. I do have a concern (re myself!) that black trousers, flat shoes and plain top means I will be mistaken for staff...

gilly ooh! accessories is a good point. I have a lovely vintage art deco diamond necklace that I rarely get the chance to wear.
Hopefully that will stop me being mistaken for staff too

Maybe not the white one OP.
It might not look right with the tie at the waist and as you said you'd not really be wearing the jacket, you could be mistaken for a chef.
Sorry, I think it would work for a different type of occasion.

Can't post pic as up to my limit. I wear them with a 3 piece pinstripe suit or black jeans big white shirt and waistcoat. They would look brilliant with a tuxedo

Chic cream silk satin blouse. Something fluid and expensive looking. (No no to a bow tie - I assume it’s not fancy dress). Not white either. It’s office wear. Gold jewellery to make a statement.

I have just seen the perfect satin off white/cream shirt in Zara. It is made to be worn with this sort of suit. It has detail at the “cuffs”. It’s perfect. Shoes? Pumps with a low heel - suede slipper style ones.
