Brit Awards - Panic!

I have a last minute invitation to the Brit Awards (a table on the main floor). The dress code is something like ‘glamorous but not black tie’. What on earth should I wear? I don’t want to look too much like I’m trying to mingle with the slebs but on the other hand I don’t want to look like a Middle Aged corporate wife (that is what I am!!)

I’m 40, size 10 (probably vanity sizing) ok figure ie no awful bits. I have a couple of Ted Baker cocktail type dresses (but saw one described as very dated on another thread) or a LBD. I also have a couple of hours in London where I could shop! Help please!!

Do you have a middle aged, corporate budget? And are you likely to wear whatever you buy more than once or twice?

If not - I’d suggest you head to the basement of the Oxford Circus Top Shop. It’s where they hide all the really interesting stuff; independent designers and surprisingly good (if relatively expensive) vintage items. You don’t have to buy anything ... And after one hour you could head across to Liberty’s.

Sparkly jumpsuit, comfy wedges, long earrings and a bangle or two.

Haha Gruach no and no! Thanks will go and look.
Sitranced I would love a jumpsuit but they don’t love me - short body v legs ☹️
