Wide legged pants - what shoes????

Love wide leg pants, especially through summer as i can team them with sandals/wedges but i really struggle once the weather turns colder and wetter as to what i can wear on my feet and also that the bottom of the pants dont trail in the puddles.

What shoes look best?

Trainers I think look the best. I have a couple of pairs of Vega's that I wear at the moment. Boots don't look good with wide trousers unless they're cropped ime.

Tbh I only wear trainers with them - either white Stan Smith style of something more sporty (but still fashion trainers iyswim). I think trainers balance the shape well.

Think you both are right, they need a chunky(ish trainer) that's why i usually wear more or a chunky sandal/wedge rather than anything flimsy otherwise you look really flat footed

Hate, hate , hate ballerina style pumps with them.

And i love a white trainer :)

Yep- another vote for a chunky trainer. I’ve got platform sole Adidas which look great with my black trousers. When it is very cold, I’ll add a fishnet (gold, silver, black).. it seems to make me think I’m warmer anyway!

I do have some chunky soles loafers which also look pretty Good.

I wear mine with my heeled boots

Yes I love boots at this time of year especially. Mid heeled or ankle boot styles are best in my opinion too, like this {{https://www.xylondon.com/boots/jamie-black-synthetic-leather-boots boot style here]] with the lovely tassled look or failing that, I might wear trainers too lol!

I like floral platform shoes as well. It all depends on the time of year to me.
