Is this rosacea?

For the past couple of years, I've had slight reddening of my cheeks, with a few little bumpy spots, that occasionally have a little head.

I'm not thrilled as I've always had ok skin and this is hitting at around the same time I need to be dealing with ageing! (I'm early 40s).

Can any of you wise people tell me if it looks like rosacea? And if so, what should I be doing?

Thanks ever so much

Mine was a lot more angry than that but there are a few different types. If it is rosacea you need to go to your GP for proper treatment. In the meantime, rosacea is often aggravated by sunlight, so factor 50 is good.

I also avoid foaming cleansers, which makes a huge difference to my skin. I live the La Roche Posay Toleraine cleanser. Avene extra gentle is supposed to be good too

Also any kind of rubbing or exfoliant is terrible for mine.

I had this for a few years, and it went away - along with gut-rot and the squits - when I stopped eating wheat! Now, if I accidentally scoff a cake, I get the little, sore tell-tale pimples.

Might be worth a shot.
