I’ve discovered THE BEST cream for chapped lips

Wanted to share my joy at finding the only balm to ever sort out my dry/chapped lips (I’ve tried just about everything going!). It’s nipple cream! Lansinoh (Boots £10.99 or a small handy tube for £5.99). Happy days Smile

No way I'm gonna try this tomorrow! I hope this isn't a wind up

SpadesOfGlory · 19/02/2018 22:50

I've heard that too! Have a friend who was given a mini tube of it by her health visitor specifically for her dry lips, so it must work.

Honestly, it’s true. I’ve spent so much money over the years & to think I used this cream whilst breastfeeding my son! Google it or check the reviews on Boots Smile

I've been recommending this to everyone since DS1 was a baby - he's 12 now! It really does work miracles, though it feels very sticky. It works so fast you don't have to use it for very long though (I just put it on overnight if needed). A tube lasts forever too, I always have to chuck it due to expiry dates.

Amazing I'll dig mine out tomorrow

DotCottonIsMyIdol · 19/02/2018 22:57

I'll second this..... currently have a tube on the go originally for my nipples as have a very hungry 11 week old DS. Found out how lovely it was as lip balm as couldn't get out of bed while feeding DS to find my usual lip balm, it's brillaint! Now being used exclusively as lip balm and occasionally for very sore chapped fingers after too many post nappy change washes!

Roomba It’s amazing isn’t it. I’m so happy Smile I thought I was never going to get luscious soft lips!

It's the best thing ever. I always have back up tubes in as I couldn't bear to be without it.

Totally agree, it's just Lanolin which is the same as they use in Lanolips but the nipple cream is loads cheaper x

MadC0w · 20/02/2018 04:50

Totally agree this stuff is amazing! Discovered it when breastfeeding DC1, now feeding DC2 and use it more on my lips than nipples.

sanitygirl · 20/02/2018 14:40

Agree it's the best

AfterSchoolWorry · 20/02/2018 14:56

It's also the best thing for dry hands with broken skin from washing.

I have to wash my hands frequently in my job.
