Spendy skin care for a special gift

My sister is going to be 50 in a few weeks and I’d like to get her some luxurious skin care products that she wouldn’t normally buy. I’m thinking of budgeting £100-£150 and I’d like to get 2-3 items.

She’s got decent skin for her age - she had oily and spotty skin which has probably helped on the wrinkle front, but she still has a few scars and a bit of pigmentation.

Can anyone recommend some lovely things I can buy her?

The Jo Malone shower oil is gorgeous. I’d bathe in it if I could afford it!

An elemis gift set. One that includes the marine cream.

What about Space NK vouchers? I know vouchers are a bit dull but this way she could have a consultation and choose some products. Skincare is very personal, and it’s a lot to spend if the ones you choose don’t suit her.

And go with her for the shopping trip, then tea and cake afterwards!

Skin care is so personal that I'd advice against choosing for somebody as you may end up wasting good money.

Maybe an facial and some vouchers for some products afterwards? Or makeover where the money can be used for products. Bobbi brown has a nice skincare Range

Thanks for your replies - we’ve got similar taste and similar skin types, so I’d be fairly confident in buying her something she likes/wants/needs!

In no particular order:

Jo Malone bath oil, candle or shower scrub

Neom treatment candle - you burn it then massage oil onto skin, Rose and geranium face oil

Votary cleansing oils

Chanel compact, anything from les beiges range,

Set of Aromatherapy Associates mini bath oils and any of their body oils

Sorry that I can't think of much facial stuff. I think if I had a sister I would rather go together and have a facial treatment of some kind - perhaps testing various bobs at a good Space NK outlet, lunch and then a scented arm masssage with bubbles at a Jo Malone with something to take away with me afterwards.

Hope she has a great birthday

I'd get something from the Sarah Chapman range. The Overnight Facial is amazing.
