Long down coat

I want a long (past the knees) down coat. I don’t care if it looks like a sleeping bag, that’s what I want it to feel like. I’d rather it wasn’t too shiny though. It must have a hood. I’m probably an XL/16 and I’m 5 foot 4, so regular fit. I’d probably rather it wasn’t black as I’m guessing that’s the best colour to be run over in. I’d rather not spend a fortune unless you can persuade me it’s essential. I’m not v outdoorsy.

I nearly bought a uniqlo one this week but their stupid discount code didn’t work and when it worked again the one in the sale was sold out.

Any suggestions?

I have a Lands End stadium coat. It is lovely and warm and down past my knees. It's bright red, has a hood and I suspect I probably look like a pillar box in it. It's definitely not v flattering, but when you're standing on a pitch on a Saturday morning it's awesome

Another vote for Lands End. Generously sized. Some fitted more than others. Living in mine this winter!
