Outfit for a christening

I'm 5 ft 2 and weigh 10.5 st. I need an outfit for a christening in April but I will not wear dresses/skirts as I hate my short white legs! Can anyone give me some nice smart casual ideas please, I usually live in jeans and hoodies/t-shirts most of the year so am clueless.

Where is the christening? I wore a dress to my grandson's, but even in a Catholic church some people were wearing jeans

What about a jumpsuit or white linen trousers with nice top / shirt?

I think I might have worn black jeans and a nice top last time (it was in February 5 years ago so can't really remember, bu tknow it was cold). It is in a church but hoping for some nice weather, I think maybe some light capri trousers and a blouse will work. Thanks
