Lots of foundation - too dark, can I mix?

Doing a clearout of make up today. I have tow nearly full bottles of Revlon colorstay that looks dark (my own mistake ) and other compacts that look dark. Going to bin the compacts but should I dump the lot? Have a friend who may want them but would prefer to use them up. If I buy a place shade in a cheap brand would this work? I have a cc cream too. Might try this to use it up.

Lots of brands do mixing drops now to customise foundation. I know GOSH (superdrug) and makeup obsession (tam beauty or boots) so bottles of whitening drops.

I did this and it worked really well.

Body shop do foundation drops too

Thank you - will dump out the compacts (don't like them anyway) and try the pale colour or drops. The colorstay seems toake my lines look worse and is drying so might be better to mix

I mix darker shades with moisturiser. Sounds like the product is too heavy for you so that would dilute the texture too.

Littlelambpeep · 18/02/2018 19:51

Yes the texture is heavy. I had quite bad skin that has really cleared up and nearly 40 so think too much make up is looking worse on me now. Used to love full coverage

I use the NYX white mixer with my ELDW - cost £8 I think - and works okay. I'm super pale...

I mix colorstay as am in between shades. Works really well.
