So..have bought this..can anyone tell me what it is supposed to do in easy language for a thick like me? Grin

The website reads like a science lesson.

Will it help with my age spots, or do I need something with Vitamin C in it?

And can anyone who has used it for a while recommend/not it?

Thanks! x

..just to add, have used it last night and just now..I know you are meant to take it slowly but haven't seen any signs of irritation (yet).

It does leave my face looking quite shiny though, but that may be the solution it's in...?

I have got the one in emulsion which i really like,i read that some people thought thev one in squalane was too oily,
I use mine about twice a week, and i think it has made a difference face looks smoother and pores closed
SAomeone might tell you how they find it,
There are a few threads on this if you can find previous threads
I have had no irritation at all with mine
Also got alpha lipoic acid

Hi for over a year i have been using the ordinarys retinoids, as well as a tretinoin from spain, been watching utube to day a Dr Gray, shes a dermatologist, she was saying that all creams with retinol in that we buy in boots ect, are not the same as the real thing like tretinoin as they are not a medicine but a cosmetic, she did go on to say the cosmetic creams are better than nothing, just not as good as the tretinoin. i did just put an order in for the 5% retinol in sqauline, i was thinking maybe it will be my last order and i will just stick with the spain cream. love hope you feel better soon.

lovemylover · 19/02/2018 22:01

lindyloo, thank you, i am feeling much better, rash has gone but its pretty painful, and affected are is numb, weird feeling
I have not got my RetinA yet from Spain, my son will be here a bit later than expected
I will see if i can find that you tube video
Hope you are ok, let me know how you get on with the retinol in squalne, might try that if you think its any good

lindyloo57 · 20/02/2018 09:39

lovemylover, i have just had a reply from Dr gray after asking her advice about retinols,[ you must look her up] and she says she also gets the retinol A from spain herself so it must be the best.

lovemylover · 20/02/2018 09:54

I will look her up this morning, i hope its good, cant wait to get the retinA , have you noticed any differece, is it very drying ?
I have got a dermawand ,only on a months trial, but it has a funny smell, which is off putting, not sure if any of these things work, or wrinkles reduced
Also have a nu face,device
Can you tell im desperate lol

lindyloo57 · 20/02/2018 14:04

my face do feel soft, like after exfoliating, not sure about wrinkles its hard to tell, i wish i had taken photos before i began, althought it do says it can take a long time, so i will carry on, its not as drying as the one i got from ebay, not so much peeling, but that could be my skin getting used to retinol [ about time] plus its only 0.05 the ebay one was 0.1 so stronger.

Adoodoobydoo · 20/02/2018 14:06

I have a question if that's ok. I keep reading about retinols but I'm a bit confused. Will it get rid of my newly forming wrinkles and if so, where can I buy it?

lindyloo57 · 20/02/2018 14:37

hi you could tryThe ordinary if you are new to Retinols read up on their web site, also you can get it in spain. it will should work on wrinkles but it takes time and you have to start slowly only once or twice a week.

Adoodoobydoo · 20/02/2018 15:03

Thank you lindyloo. I have no trips to Spain planned but I'll certainly try the ordinary website you mentioned. Ive just started developing wrinkles...quite prematurely I feel. I have been frantically reading up on what to do and retinol keeps coming up again and again but I didn't know where to start. Thank you!
