Best hair straighteners for curls?

I've been trying for god knows how long - to do curls with my ghds.

Is there any other straighteners that are better for curling? Maybe with rounded edge??

I use tongs to do curls, I feel you get a nicer effect. You can still get the looser ones by just brushing them out after. Tresseme and Babylis do great ones!

I use a ghd curling wand - would that be better?
