New Make Up Advice

First time poster so be gentle please Wink

I have been pretty much doing the same make up routine for a good 20 years, have changed my products around and tried new things but nothing major.

I am 41 and have noticed my skin is becoming increasingly dry my make up seems to be ageing me somewhat and particularly under my eyes just seems to sit in creases even though I'm not really lined under my eyes?

I've wandered around the make up counters but find the choice overwhelming, would like a nice fresh bright look not Matt and dated Confused

As a guide I currently wear Foundation, Loose Powder, Blush, Eyeshadow, Mascara and lipgloss daily.

Any advice gratefully received Smile

Start with sorting out your skincare. Prepare the canvas before you apply the paint! What's your skincare routine like? And you might want to think about a primer.

The only thing I would add to your daily routine is brows. Applying a tinted gel (I use the Bobbi Brown one) really does make a difference.

Thanks!

I use the Liz Earle skincare which seems to suit my skin, I think I need to find a new moisturiser to counteract the new dryness!

Never tried a Primer so will look at that Smile

I’m in my 40s and use Liz Earle too. I have decided that the moisturiser isn’t enough any more.
I’ve just added Boots Perfect andProtect serum. Too early to say if it’s going to help but my skin feels a bit smoother
