What to wear with Dungarees?

I've bought a pair of skinny fit blue denim Dungarees. I see other people in Dungarees, and I think they look fantastic and I've caved in and bought a pair for myself! I'm really unsure as to whether they suit me though, so I wanted some ideas of what to wear with them as I don't want to look terrible in them 😂
Any advice would be appreciated 😊

A paint brush? Sorry - facetious answer. I think they suit very few people if I'm honest. If you are young and slim you can probably get away with them with a close fitting long sleeve t shirt.

I hate dungarees on adults. They only look good if you are a child under 2/3. Sorry

Oooh I'm a lover! I'm desperate to get my hands of a pair of those lucy yaks things I keep seeing on Facebook but I'm skint till payday lol

Plus I've got a bit of tummy at the moment so when I get to my goal weight, they can be my treat to myself

I wear a lot of pinafore dresses with stripes, jumpers tshirts etc

I love them, but don’t wear a Breton with them, that’s what everyone does. I like them with thick jumpers.

I have a real penchant for dungarees. I only wear them in the spring / summer, with a ribbed vest or t-shirt under. Never found a way to make them work in winter as my house is cold and they feel too bulky with all the layers required.

Yes I feel like Dungarees are quite divisive, like marmite you either love them or hate them! I love them with thick jumpers, I think they look so nice...oops my first thought was to put them with a Breton top to be honest! I always wear pinafore dresses, they're so versatile, so I'm hoping that Dungarees will be as versatile as my beloved pinafores
