Has anyone got or used Laura mercier translucent powder?

I watch quite a lot of makeup YouTube videos and seen a number of good reviews about the Laura mercier translucent powder.

Just wondered if any one who has tried it and could give their honest opinion on the product? Also if you have it, how do you use it? (

I've got a voucher..tempted to buy!

Me! Best powder ever - I apply it with a big powered brush. It gives great coverage without anything else underneath but doesn't look overdone or cakey so ok to wear in the daytime.

I love mine ! I apply with a damp beauty blender under my eyes and around my chin - doesn't settle anywhere and sets foundation perfectly. Worth the price entirely.

I purchased it three weeks ago, and find it has a colour even though it’s translucent My foundation changes colour a little, going slightly well not orange but peach. I’ve tried it over three different brands (Ester Lauder, Kat Von D and No7 Instant Radiance) with the same effect. I’m thinking of RMCA no colour powder next.

I have it, bought it in January. I don't love it but it's growing on me. I don't think it lasts all day on me but my skin is quite oily. They sold it to me at the counter as not budging all day. I do think it's got a natural finish and doesn't clog in lines. I use the puff to put it on as they recommended it. It can be hard to use it around the nose so I use a brush for that. I was using a Nars pressed powder before that which I really liked but it was very bad value, didn't last long at all and then then when it was nearly done it broke up and was unusable.

I don't have that one but i have the translucent pressed powder. I love it.

Thank you for your replies so far! Tempted to purchase now ☺

Another question, it's not the cheapest! Has it lasted?

I had a fantastic Charlotte tilbury powder which leaves my skin absolutely flawless but it doesn't last long at all. I was hoping this product would be a good similar replacement that would last longer.

Mine lasted about 9 months. I didn't really get the hype (I also don't find it to be completely translucent) until I tried others on the market and they don't measure up to it.

Hmm good question - like @estelkanpip says, I'd say about 9 months too
