What style of jeans is on trend right now?

Just got new jeans from next as they always are a good fit and these ones are ever so slightly shorter than normal. More ankle grazing I would say. Straight leg stretch denim. Is shorter in or have they changed the leg length?

Shorter trousers are in at the moment, so wear them if you like them.

I was in Topshop the other day and they seemed to have loads of shapes: skinny, cropped wide legs, flares, mom jeans (awful name), boyfriend jeans etc...
