Need really good skin protection against the elements

Next month I am starting a new job...I will be outside all day, in all weathers. I've never worn makeup and just slosh a bit of Oil of Ulay on after my shower, but I suspect I am going to need something or I'll look like a leather bag by the end of the year! (I'm also 50)

Any suggestions for a good protective moisturiser/barrier for my poor face?

I think it's sunscreen that you really need to consider - all around the year, and with both UVB and UVA protection. And sunscreen lip balm and sunglasses too.
