Anybody want to help me buy clothes?

Have a little money to spend and really need some everyday bits.

Thing is, I've just had a baby (3 weeks) and would normally put off buying anything until I've lost weight etc but then I just never end up doing that! Thus, tummy-friendly gear would be ideal!

Me: short (5ft 2), chunky (size 18) but carry it fairly well - I have a small frame and hourglass shape so fairly body-confident apart from my awful stumpy, fat tree-trunk legs (not just thighs!). Brunette hair and blue eyes, do my makeup everyday so must have some vanity left! ☺️🙈

Struggle hugely with footwear! Big legs make boots a challenge and I am not great with heels..! Wish I could be as DH is 6'5!

Am after comfy, everyday clothes for maternity leave. I have an older child so will be on school run, walking with pram etc. If you come across any beautiful dresses that might suit me, I would be interested though as have a christening do next week and it would be nice to have something new!

Sorry that's ended up long. Hope some of you might help! 🤞🏼

Since having DD I never wear heels.

Sainsbury TU have a 25% off sale at the moment.

Thanks. I'll check out the TU site 👍

What do you wear on your feet if you're going out?

I lived in trainers and ankle boots. I like H&M for casual clothes (no objection to Tu per se but I think it's a bit more hit and miss).

I wear black slightly pointed flats with little gold embellishment on the tiny heel. I'll try to find a picture..

Like these. Because I can't hack heels any more!

With skirts/dresses, ankle boots or ballet flats, and with jeans, trainers or ballet flats. If you get a pair of neutral ballet flats you can wear them with literally everything in spring/summer, really versatile.

Sparkly pumps from next.

Thanks for suggestions. I'll have to try some ballet flats.
