How to soften a beard?

Dh is beardy. A proper thick lumberjack style beard. But it’s bristly and rough.

Is it possible to soften it?
What can I buy him?

It’s like kissing a scrubbing brush atm! Shock

Tea tree oil is good, softens the beard and is great for the skin too. Just bear in mind that your whole house will smell of it (I quite like it)

A razor.

Beard Oil

paper I’d choose a clean shaven face, but it’s dh’s face not mine, so it’s his choice. :)

Second the beard oil. Also he could put some actual hair conditioner in it while in the shower

uk.lush.com/products/kalamazoo

Kalamazoo beard balm from Lush.smells gorgeous, makes beard very soft.

DH uses this beard oil because I buy it www.etsy.com/uk/listing/199625710/the-buccaneer-beard-oil-the-audacious

However you can even buy cheap beard oils in Lidl these days! Oil and a good regular trim does the world of good and smells fab.

I’m just hypothesising that you could anal bleach the hell out of it with cream bleach left on for ages. This would start to break the hair down, then dye it dark or whatever, then treat it with some conditioner.
