Castor oil for eyelash growth

I read about this online and bought some castor oil to try it out - however it's so thick and gloopy and really stings.
I've been using a clean mascara brush (bought in a pack from Superdrug) to apply at night, trying to use the tiniest amount possible (as it's so viscous).
I'm about to give up as it stings like f*ck, but I really wanted to keep going as it would be so great if it worked.
Has anyone used it with success? Is it worth continuing, and if so, how do I cope with the stinging? Will it harm my eyelid skin?

How are you with a white cane?

Eh? What do you mean? As in being blinded by the stinging?

Caster oil is horrid.

Treat yourself to some revitalash, it's expensive but REALLY works.

I got an email saying hey have 25%off today
Code is LOVEBLOOM if you fancy it.

I don't work for them or anything just been a customer for years and live having Bambi lashes Grin

Find yourself a pensioner with glaucoma.

The eye drops make lashes grow like privet I cut my DF eyelashes today because they grow so long they sweep his specs.
