Stupid question about pins in leather jackets...

I've got a lovely All Saints leather jacket.
I've got some really cool enamel pins that I want to put in the lapel of the jacket.

If I do, will the jacket be ruined if I take them out at some point?

Yes it will ruin it as will leave a hole!
