Thoughts on the wardrobe icons dressing for your shape issue?

Whilst I never buy anything recommended by WI as it’s too expensive for me, I do enjoy reading it and I think Laura and petro always look amazing. However I was disappointed with this issue. Petro claiming that flared jeans are her go to style as they balance out her larger hips, but she often wears skinny jeans and leather leggings. She also said she can’t add bulk to her larger shoulders but then wears huge fur coats. Laura is a bit busty for her frame but her advice that crew necks suit all busty women is plain wrong, most very busty women wouldn’t go near a high neck. The only mention of plus size as far as I could see, was some cheap pleather leggings from next, compared with all the expensive real leather ones recommended for all the other body shapes. Just disappointed really. What do others think?

Just bumping up as I’m really interested in people views

Hi there, this got slated on the bloggers and brands thread - thread 2 I think. Might be worth posting on there (thread 3 now going) for traffic. The consensus was it was a load of twaddle. However it then got a bit officious with some complaining that ‘unqualified’ people were giving style advice and that it was irresponsible. That made me snort into my tea (ducks for cover).

Thanks swimming. I did read that thread but thought that I may be stepping into the wrong territory, as the thread was supposed to be more about the brand and disclosure issue rather than just content of blogs. Maybe it has already been discussed though
