How old is too old for pastel hair

I love the new pastel hair colours. I have long hair which is blonde and, according to my hair dresser it wouldn’t be too difficult for me to go for one of the colours in the picture. But I’m 45, I like to think a fairly sprightly 45 yr old, but 45 all the same. Will I end up looking like mutton dressed as lamb?

I'm older than you and I love having pink hair- just makes me feel more like myself (also my mother hates it which is always a plus).
If you want to try it first use the Bleach London range - you can get it in Boots and the Rose shampoo and conditioner gives mine a lovely pale pink that washes out in 2-3 shampoos of ordinary shampoo.

My grandma is 80 this year and has pale pink hair! She always get compliments and it looks fantastic on her! She has also tried a very pale turquoise but that didn't look so good so I think you have to experiment a little to see what suits you!

If it makes you happy do it, who cares what anyone thinks? Personally I don't like pastel hair on anyone - whether they are 14 or 94 but if you like it, do it.

If you like it go for it! 45 isn't too old and I'm sure you will love it and look gorgeous! It's amazing what a new look can do for your confidence, and just in time for spring too!! Go for it!!

I'm 42 and had mine done last week. It fades fast but I love it!

When my hair turns completely, or mostly white, I'm gong to permanently have it rainbow coloured. So in around 10 years when I'll be in my 50s
