Help me stop buying black handbags!

I seem to have a black handbag addiction. I just keep buying them! I have no nice non black bags & have decided I need to get one.

I've never really had a non black bag aside from 1 tan handbag although I just really don't seem to like tan bags with my outfits & don't know what colour would work best to match mainly jeans & pale tops/shirts. I came across a larger version of this bag in this gunmetal type colour. What does everyone think of this colour if I am only going to have 1 neutral bag? Not so much the style as the larger size looks quite different imo although does have the same colour hardware http://www.sarenza.co.uk/michael-michael-kors-sloan-quilt-shldr-flap-s783947-p0000065778 I'm 30 if that makes any difference & tend to live in jeans- either black or blue when not at work.

Most of my shoes are tan/white/nude so I think they'd match. I found nude/tan bags end up clashing with my shoes which are too similar to contrast but too different in shade to match properly. I'm a bit lost as I've never really ventured out of the black handbag zone & have been carrying a Tiba & Marl (you guessed it-Black) changing bag instead of a handbag for the last year so I could use some guidance.

So what do you think of that colour? It's not black so I can't get as excited about it as I would if it was a nice black bag but I think I like it...it's definitely the only time I've actually considered buying a non black bag recently.

It's out of stock but it's nice! Quite glam.

Please stop me buying black tops! I'm addicted. It's embarrassing.

Oh gosh, I've started to like it if my bag is the same colour as my jacket Blush I don't know how it started, think I saw a pinterest pic, but it has helped to step out of the comfort zone that is black bags. I recently bought a nude cross body bag and at first it really jarred, but I love it now. Although I'm worried about it getting marks on.

I always buy black t-shirts, mainly because I can't find a decent white one.

@AnneLovesGilbert I've come across it on eBay in the larger size for a really good price & I'm so torn! Although the photos there are with rubbish lighting so this website shows up the true colour much better. I'll end up waiting so long, someone will end up snapping it up before I decide whether or not I like it because it's not black!

@rightknockered yes that's my problem too! I can't buy anything too light because I have an irrational fear of damaging things so I know if I had a nice cream bag or jacket or something, I'd keep it to look at occasionally but never actually use. That's why this colour tempts me- it's not black but it also wouldn't show up marks as easily as very pale bags. I have recently overcome a black jeans obsession too so I totally get the black tops.

Thanks for your help ladies- I decided to buy it :D here's the photo off the listing of the larger size. I am rubbish & can't work out how to crop my personal details off of the receipt page so please excuse the bad edit job I've half managed. It's really not my usual kind of thing but I feel like I could get lots of use out of this colour.
