'Red' lipstick for light beige (half Indian) skin tone

I've tried for years to find a red that suits me-haven't found it..... I'm 50 and my skin has yellowish undertones-my hair is dark-my lips are thinnish (perhaps this is the problem?). I'm looking for something cheap to cheapish (under £10) Any recommendations? thanks!

I have the same skin tone as you I think.
I can look quite shallow without make up on.
I have found red lipstick can go pink on my lips.
I do have a lovely urban decay one called sheer F bomb that I wear.
Also max factor Marilyn Cabernet.

I prefer a sheer colour rather than a solid block of colour.
I feel very self conscious with full on red lips but I love the thought of it!

Nyx Perfect Red is a good colour as is Guerlain Garconne.

With your skin tone you need an orange toned red and not a pink or blue toned red. Can you stretch to MAC? If so I recommend Lady Danger. If not Google search for a Lady Danger dupe.

I disagree, a neutral or a bluish red would be lovely.

With thin lips I would stay away from anything too matte. L'Oreal Blake's red is a great colour, but only use as a stain.

I'm mixed race and have a yellow undertone like you. spent years trying to find a red lippie. I went for first light chanel and I wear it all the time, it's slightly orangey but is the only lipstick that looks right against my yellow undertone.
more than your budget but honestly try it and you'll see why you should splash out.
