How do you do your hair each day?

Before DD I always straightened or curled it but now I just brush it unless it's something special
What do you do on a day-to-day basis?

Wash, dry fringe, scrunch shoulder length hair and turn the blowers on in the car. Hair done when I get to work!!

Wash, always shampoo and conditioner, then blow dry just roughly no round brushes or anything 90% of the time, leave to air dry the rest. I have very straight here, straightening is pointless and curling is pointless because it falls out in 5 minutes

I sprayed the greasy bits with dry shampoo this morning

Usually,
Day 1 wash and air dry in evening
Day 2 straighten in morning and wear down (old GHD wide plates so v quick and doesn't go too flat)
Day 3 wear down
Day 4 wear in ponytail and wash again in evening.

Atm I have no shower, but I'm also pregnant, so am managing to leave my hair 5-6 days and it still feels clean and looks the same as when I straightened it. Love it!

Soak in shower, put conditioner and gel in it. Dry with diffuser. Takes about 15 mins as I have thick curly hair

I have hair in good condition but don't colour. it can get a bit slippery. When it was shorter I had to wash every day as I looked like a Gremlin if I didn't. Now its nearer shoulder length I can wash every two days if I am working at home.

I used to work with a lady who had a beautiful blonde bob. She said she washed every morning and then stood by the window of the tube as she was travelling to work and it dried it perfectly.

In the film Bridget Jones does anyone remember when Birdget lost her scarf travelling to a hotel with Hugh Grant? Her hair looked exactly how you would expect!

I have tried dry shampoos but don't really rate them. Have also tried expensive and cheaper shampoos and recently some research indicated don't buy too cheap or too expensive, try and go for something in the middle. I like John Frieda - always seems to be on offer at Boots.

splash a bit of water on it to stop it sticking up, run fingers through. Done. If going out, put some hairspray on.

Wash it, rub some gunk in it, leave it...probably tie up once at work...

Wash it twice a week, leave to air dry and wear it up in a bun (only style it for special occasion)

Every morning I wash, condition, blow dry and straighten :)

Maybe one day out of the week I might leave it to air dry after my shower with some mousse scrunched in for waves.

It's not much hassle. It's shoulder length and takes a few minutes in the shower I'd already be getting to wash it, and blow drying/straightening takes 10-15 mins tops after it's dried a bit in the time it takes to do my makeup.

I know these threads always attract the 'daily washing is bad' comments but I've done it my whole life and my hair is in fantastic condition, often get comments on how sleek and shiny it is and hairdressers coo over it 😂

My partner has hair down to his arse (he's never cut it) and only washes it once per week and even on the wash day it still looks fine, he's very lucky! I would feel so weird having a shower without also washing my hair and leaving the house without it freshly cleaned. Each to their own!

Wash and blow dry mine every day generally (miss the odd day if I have to, in which case I tie it up). I used to straighten it but now it’s longer (below bra strap length) the weight means it doesn’t need it. It’s also much thicker and healthier since having children for some reason. It’s in great condition despite daily washing.

Wet in the shower but only wash and condition it every 3rd day. In between I condition only.

Leave to air dry until about 80% dry, then put in some heat protector spray and blow dry roughly upside down for a couple of minutes.

Finish with a quick going over top layer with the BBH and set with hairspray.

I do this 5/6 days a week and wear it down. I might have a lazy day once a week and wear it up.

I have short hair so I look like Worzel Gummage unless I wash it every day

Wash, blow dry, straighten the longer bits, wax, style, hairspray.

It takes less time than it sounds like

Wasn't she choking on the pollution? It's ever so dirty on the tube.

I think she was having you on, she probably got up at 5am and spent hours blowdrying it.

Daily: run fingers through, tie up. Coconut oil on ends at bedtime.
Weekly: wash, condition, leave to dry.

Every 3-4 months (or, if money is tight, as now, 5 months): shampoo and cut at hairdressers. It dries on the walk home.

I'm high maintenance, me.

Wash and condition every morning, rough dry with hairdryer and finish off with hot air brush thing. Bit of finishing cream if the weather is damp (which in Wales is kind of always at the moment)

Wash every morning , blow dry with a diffuser and finish with large round brush .
