Lipstick colour for silver hair

I am 56 with silver hair. I need to find a great lip colour to brighten my look - a little bit scared of fushia and red but the safe, reliable plum doesn't work with the new hair colour. Very grateful for any recommendations that might work with silver hair and cool skin tone.

Burgundy red or a raspberry pink would be great

I know you said you find red difficult but a blue toned matte red is very wearable with silver hair and the texture tones it down.

On another thread, they recommended the Parisian way of applying lipstick - dabbing it on with a fingertip rather than straight from the lipstick. Gives a softer, less harsh look. There are videos about this apparently!

Nyx Aria, it looks scary in the tube but it really works with grey hair. It's my go to lipstick. I apply it but dabbing it on my lips as stated above.

I think you should go for a lovely shade of pink, be brave ! 😄

Thank you - I have ordered Nyx Aria to give it a try. Will have a look for raspberry/pink. Will also try Bagels method for application.
