I’m looking for a good primer with a small budget-approx £10. Any recommendations?

Rimmel Fix & Protect Primer - £6.99. I bought one about a month ago and it makes my makeup stay on longer than any others I've tried. There is a W7 one you can get on Amazon called Porefection that's supposed to be a good dupe for Benefit's Porefessional. I've not tried it but would like to. I've also got a Barry M one (Flawless Brightening Primer) that I like.

TiddlesUpATree · 13/02/2018 21:30

I have the W7 one. Someone on here recommended it. It's great.

Yogatoga09 · 13/02/2018 21:31

That’s great, will have a look at those, thanks!

I can't remember the price but I quite like the Benefit primer.

I was super impressed with The Ordinary High Spreadibility Fluid. Gave my trusty illamasqua a run for its money and it’s only £6! I think it’s on ASOS & Beauty Bay.

L'oreal Lumi Magique

Barry M. The one in the white & orange bottle. Better than any of the more expensive ones I tried.

FoxTeaParty · 13/02/2018 22:38

I 2nd the barry m in the white and orange bottle. Brilliant stuff.

Boots No7 Airbrush away primer works well, easily applied giving a good result.

Has anyone tried the Make Up Revolution one from Superdrug? It's £4, and I was wondering what it was like.

MiriAmmerman · 14/02/2018 09:10

This one is £3 from Wilko and it's amazing. Haven't used anything else since I discovered it about 3 years ago. It's like Smashbox, but better.

Mua range from Superdrug is brilliant.
I use their wax primer or their cream one and both are brilliant.
I'd spent £35 on a primer and foundation from boots no 7 and wasn't entirely happy with it for the price so I looked round and was recommended to try the Superdrug range.
I bought two primers a foundation a bronzer and a hi lighter all for the same price of two items at boots.
And it goes on smoother and stays on.

Sugarhunnyicedtea · 14/02/2018 09:20

I haven't managed to find one better than the MUA one from superdrug, I think it's around £4

Scabbersley · 14/02/2018 09:21

Lanacane!

Mabelface · 14/02/2018 09:27

Elf. You can buy it in Superdrug as they have different colour correcting ones.

Yogatoga09 · 14/02/2018 09:35

Thanks for all those ideas, just shows you you don’t need to spend a fortune to get great results!
