Retinol and hyaluronic acid recommendations please

Hi,

Have decided to try a face regime recommended on The Ordinary site using their buffet the hyaluronic acid in the morning and retinol/retinoid based product in the evening followed by their pressed rose hip oil.

However their acid and retinol don't get great reviews so wondering if anyone has any recommendations, never used retinol before so would need a low entry one. Any decent spf recommendations would be great too. Not loaded so looking for reasonably priced!

Thanks...

Their buffet then not the hyaluronic acid, must proof read before posting Blush

I thought the Ordinary stuff had good reviews? I use their retinol and hyaluronic acid and find them both lovely. Someone commented on my dewy skin today and I was over the moon, especially as my sleep's not great at the minute with a 3 month old

Thanks for replying- that's great to hear, a couple of the hyaluronic reviews on the website said it was quite sticky- good to get some more positive ones too
