SPF 50 that sits well under makeup

Can anyone recommend a nice SPF 50 sunblock that is good to use under makeup? I've tried the Boots No 7 facial sunblock and (I think) Piz Buin facial sunblock but both made my makeup really shiny.

Thank you!

I got www.amazon.co.uk/Sunscreen-Milk-SPF-50-sunscreen/dp/B00WE3XGAC/ref=pd_nav_hcs_bia_t_1?psc=1&_encoding=UTF8&tag=mumsnetforum-21&refRID=N9JSSRKGJ8CWMKYNGKNYthis one after asking for recommendations on here - it's nice and light and doesn't hae a horrible over powering sun cream smell

Vichy spf 50 'Dry touch' is great. It is matte so sits well under foundation.

Soap and Glory SPF 50 sunshield. Just like moisturiser.

Recently started using Roche-Posay Anthelios Xl after it being recommended on here. It’s really great under makeup.

I use skinceuticals spf, it needs time to settle before makeup.
I usually shower then do vit C on face and moisturise, then dry myself and after that apply sunscreen then get dressed before doing make up. That seems to allow the right amount of time for product to settled so it doesn’t rub off when applying foundation on top.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL SPF50+

This is my favourite ever under-makeup sunscreen. Love it.

I love this one as the biore didn't sit well on my skin.

Eucerin matt sunscreen is really good. I once tried the LRP but it was tinted and in a tube. it just pilled. I might try the bottle one now.

Clinique city block is great but it’s only 40spf

TheBitterBoy · 13/02/2018 19:19

I really like La Roche Posay Anthelios XL too. It's almost like having a primer on, I never have an issue with my make up sliding off, and you can carry on making up almost as soon as it's on your face.

UnimaginativeNameChange1 · 13/02/2018 19:23

I like Anthelios XL as well BUT don't make my mistake and think you can use it as primer on a night out - it isn't visible to the naked eye but will give you a shiny white mask in flash photography.

I use this and really like, have bought it about 4 times now:

Thank you so much for all the recommendations! I've ordered the La Roche Posay Anthelios XL and am looking forward to trying it.
