Black eyeliner pencil that stays put!

Hi

Can anyone recommend a black eyeliner pencil for use in the lash line that doesn’t smudge down your face inside 10 minutes ?

Max factor was useless and my Lancôme one started well but is getting wrose .....

Mac - PowerPoint pencils, amazing!

I never bother with pencils anymore, just a use a felt tip type eye liner

I would love to know this too - I have the Benefit one that is supposed to be waterpoof but it still smudges all down my face!

Chanel. It's expensive but works for me

If talking strictly pencils, Rimmel is better than Chanel

I’ve spent years trying to find the same OP.

I can highly recommend Shisheido kohl pencil - it’s pricey but worth it.

Kat Von D does a wonderful long lasting tattoo liquid liner. I love it!

I usually smudge over eyeliner with a dark eyeshadow (using a cotton bud) to soften the line and this seems to 'set' it quite well.

Charlotte Tilbury kohl pencils are absolutely amazing....could not recommend them more. They go on like a pencil but look like liquid. I used to use Chanel until I found these.

Mac PowerPoint pencils are perfect for this but I’ve since discovered kiko intense pencil which looks just like the Mac PowerPoint but is darker and just as long lasting... and a whole lot cheaper!

Mac power pencils are down my face in 30 minutes flat, as did the Charlotte Tilbury one. The Kat Von D tattoo liner is the only one that has ever stayed put on me.

Is the Charlotte Tilbury a pencil, or one you can wind up please?

The Marc Jacobs Highliner gel pencils are amazing and don’t smudge

The urban decay 24/7 pencil liners are amazing. Lovely and sodt and really pigmented. Only problem is you have to sharpen it they don't twist up.

I use clinique quick liner which is good but would love to find a cheaper alternative

The Charlotte Tilbury is a pencil that needs sharpening. Definitely try it!

Apparently the reason eyeliner and mascara smudges or gives us panda eyes is due to our skin around the eyes getting oily throughout the day.
It's recommended to use a primer to stop this and/or coat your eyelashes after mascara using the brush on wax you get for eyebrows.
I did both today and even though I had mascara and eyeliner on I only had one small smudge. Now I didn't have lots of either on so still want to test this plus I'm not certain the eyebrow setting wax is safe so near eyes so I want to check the whole theory properly.
I used a benefit setting wax and I'm guessing it is safe around eyes as Gimme brow was recalled when it turned out it wasn't safe if it came in contact with eyes.
I kept mine as I wouldn't put it near my eyes and to be honest couldn't understand why anyone would but I want to check it before continuing.
