I’m a 12 and wear a medium in tops from there. You’d want large or possibly extra large for a jacket if you want space for something underneath.

Pinkmexicanskull · 11/02/2018 20:51

So I’m a similar size and had to get XL- even XXL. The L was too tight and too short, had to get XL. I’m 5’7 and a 14 too and 12 bottom. They come up small.

ihatethecold · 11/02/2018 20:51

I’m a 12 to 14 and I wear M

Notmybag · 11/02/2018 21:06

XL! Heaven forbid! Blush

NoSquirrels · 11/02/2018 21:07

I’d say L. 12-14 would be M.

DandelionAndBedrock · 11/02/2018 21:07

XL if you have boobs, and or a regular length body.

donkey86 · 11/02/2018 21:07

I'm a 14 or 16 depending on the shop and I'm an XL in Uniqlo. Puts me off going there tbh!

NoSquirrels · 11/02/2018 21:08

The down jackets are cut small - they’re so warm you need nothing much on under, but if you want to layer then do size up, I reckon.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 11/02/2018 21:09

I'm a 10/12 and I usually wear M but I do find their sizing a bit random.

AllPizzasGreatAndSmall · 11/02/2018 21:29

I'm size 8/10 and go up a size in the Heattech, as I don't want them skintight, so buy M, otherwise I usually wear S.

Lotsofsausage · 11/02/2018 21:41

definitely XL for the coat - I'm a 14 and the L was a bit snug, they have tiny japanese sizing. Definitely go up a size. All of my jumpers from there are XL apart from one in large which I wear tight, tucked into high waisted trousers. The heat tech you'll get away with a large as they are stretchy. Weirdly I find their bras really large fitting though compared to the rest of their clothes!

BikeRunSki · 11/02/2018 21:44

XL i’m afraid.
I am a similar size to you OP. You just have to man up.

Oohyoudevilyou · 12/02/2018 10:06

XL and snip out the labels Smile

hugoagogo · 12/02/2018 10:08

Xl the sizes are small

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 12/02/2018 10:11

I find the sizes run small for knitwear, less so for coats.
I am size 12-14 on top, 14-16 arse
I wear XL for knitwear, but my wool coat is a medium.
You'll want at least an L, possibly XL.

Oddbutnotodd · 12/02/2018 15:21

Definitely an XL for the coat. I'm a 14 and the L is fairly close fitting; you don't want to look like an over stuffed sausage! L for heat tech, I wear a medium.

OCSockOrphanage · 12/02/2018 20:27

In Uniqlo, I find I prefer tops a size up, but bottoms a size down.
