Chip shop hair

My hair gets unbearably greasy within less than 24 hours. It's super fine and we live in a very hard water area so I suspect a general build up of stuff. I have got some apple cider vinegar on the advice on a mnetter, but what do I actually do with it?! How do I use it most effectively? Before shampooing? After conditioning? Rinse off? Leave on? Leave on for a bit? Help!

I'm trying all of these (one by one) I may start a spreadsheet thank you!

Well have just done ACV rinse - put 4 tbsps in a cup of water in a spray bottle and liberally doused after shampooing. It started burning a bit after 5 mins so rinsed out. No conditioner. We shall see! Will report back. I went into Lush today. They don't do the Hard shampoo anymore. They had a salty one that might work? (Purely basing that off salt being used as a water softener in my dishwasher!)
