Maternity Legsuit/Tankini with 'shorts' bottoms

I wasn't sure whether to put this in Pregnancy or here but you guys are great at this stuff so if they exist I'm sure you can find them for me.

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and want to start going swimming sometimes again, but I used to always wear 'legsuit' swimming costumes. But I can't find any maternity legsuits or maternity tankinis where the bottoms are like shorts rather than briefs. I have looked in a whole bunch of places online. Surely they must exist somewhere?!

Anyone?

I think you will have to buy separately. I have looked everywhere for a tankini with shorts bottoms for years and have concluded that they dont exist.

Meant to add that my dd bought a standard bikini, then managed to find a pair of swim shorts that were a pretty good match. It works out expensive unfortunately.

I had a look on the Simply Be plus size swimwear range. They do a Panache tankini and a Panache skirted swim shorts. No idea if that would be suitable but you could have a look.

I'm not sure where I'd find swim shorts that would accommodate for my growing belly though or what size to get if it wasn't maternity? Sigh. I can't be the only woman in the world who wants a legsuit/swim shorts when pregnant! It baffles me that they don't seem to exist anywhere. Usually I buy my legsuits and swim shorts from Sports Direct but no mat ones there.

Just remembered... I wore my usual tankini bottoms 'boy short' type, and bought a maternity tankini top which covered my bump.

Would that be an option for you?

I was suggesting you buy maternity swim shorts and a separate maternity tankini top, not ordinary bottoms. Although, tbh, if they’re just going under your bump it shouldn’t matter. I’ve not seen over the bump bikini bottoms before.

Have a look at Shein. They have a lot of maternity swimsuits with shorts for bottoms.

I Googled swimsuit shorts and top maternity. Loads of stuff came up.
