Hair styling help please!

This is my hair left to dry naturally.
I am aiming for something like the ones I’ve screenshot from Pinterest
How do I do it? I am not very clued up on products and techniques. I have a babyliss big hair for when I want it sleek, but most of the time I want a wavy, textured look but without too much volume and no frizz

Your hair looks dry and ends look a bit split. Have you had a trim recently? I recommend Davines salt spray.

I have that hair style! I hair dry first and then create a mixture of waves and curls with ghd straighteners whilst making sure I straighten the ends. I use a texturising cream or spray to separate and define strands.

I love it, but it is a fair amount of effort for what is a ‘messy’ haircut.

I have just had it cut (from much longer). I agree it looks dry - I use a sulphate free shampoo and nourishing conditioner but it’s obvs not enough. I’ll check out the salt spray

I've just tried olaplex 3 at home. It's done wonders for my hair. Also frizz ease deep conditioner is good to x

Thanks Buster, any specific product recommendations? My hairdresser dried it straight and then put in some curls with straighteners but it didn’t look much like the photos at all!

I keep coming back to these (pic hopefully attached). I either use the spray after I’ve done each section, or I’ll do my whole head with nothing and then use the lee Stafford through it. Regardless I’ll also blast with hairspray after!

My hairdresser mainly does the wave way, so she bends it either way around the straightener to get the wave. I can’t really be bothered with this at home so either do a curl but do it quickly so it’s looser, or do a curl and run the straighteners down over it (can’t be great for hair though!) and do curls in both directions, plus a couple of ‘wave’ bits for good measure and it generally looks good. The key is to not worry too much and go more for the messy movement look I think.

I think I have similar hair to you, which unfortunately I always need heat to make it look it’s best annoyingly.
