What can be done for lines under my eyes?

In the last few months, I've noticed an increase in lines under my eyes. I've been using a retinol serum but that doesn't seem to be cutting it so am wondering if something cosmetic is the next step. Eye creams might lessen their appearance but won't make them go away.

I don't think botox will be suitable as they're not crows feet, they're just undereye lines (though I don't have bags) and I'm not sure botox can be injected there, and I don't have hollows so tea trough fillers won't work either.

It's got to the point when they're all I can see when I look in the mirror. Concealer seems to enhance them but I've got dark circles so I need concealer! Any ideas?

Primer under concealer helps some. I've also found the brand of concealer makes a huge difference.

Yes, I'm using NARS but it's a bit drying. But it's hard to find a concealer that's moisturising and doesn't crease under the eyes!

Was going to suggest micro needling. It’s done wonders for my eye lines. I do it myself though, MUCH cheaper!

Blimey, not sure I'd trust myself with needles around my eyes!

Retinol also takes about 12 weeks to take effect, that's how long it takes to produce new collagen so definitely don't give it up yet.

Thanks Delatron - I had to stop it for a bit as I had patches of dry skin under my eyes (which were making the lines look more obvious) - but started again about a month ago. Fingers crossed!

Yes I think you have to build up slowly with the retinol and definitely back off if dryness occurs. I started with about 4 days a week and slowly increased as my skin got used to it..
